The problem

Meaning doesn't travel between systems.

Every product, organization and domain models the world in its own way. That knowledge lives in silos, so meaning breaks at every boundary and every integration is bespoke and brittle. Vercy is an open standard that lets independent models interoperate by sharing one structural form, how a unit of meaning is built, not one schema, what your terms mean. The form is required; the vocabulary is not.

The model

Six ideas describe any domain.

Vercy is small on purpose. A handful of nested primitives can express a product, an enterprise, or an entire state, and they compose the same way everywhere.

Universe

One owner's world of meaning. Sovereign means: you set the domain rules, you can fork the shared form, and you can leave with your models under an open license. Conforming to the form is the standing condition.

Dimension

A management context inside a Universe: one coherent area of the model: a domain, a landscape, a state.

Namespace

The unit of publication and discovery: a named, versioned meta-model others can reference.

A point of truth: a modelled thing, with its properties and relationships.

Projection

A shared view of an Object across a boundary. Ownership stays home because a Projection is a view under a Contract, not a copy; the boundary is enforced by the projection rules, not by trust.

Model

Describe your domain in Vercy primitives. You keep ownership, versioning and governance of the content. One thing is centralized on purpose: the structural form, minimal and shared, like a shipping container fixes dimensions but not cargo.

Compose

Reuse what the world already standardized. Bind fields to a registry of 1,180 external standards (embed an address, reference a currency, mix in provenance) instead of re-inventing them.

Federate

Map your meaning to a shared canonical reference and exchange Projections a validator can check. Two Projections that share a Semantic Fingerprint, over the canonical form and never a byte hash, carry identical canonical structure; that does not prove two domains agree on meaning, which is asserted by Contract.
