# The world-model catalogue A vendor-neutral library of **112 meta-models in 15 clusters** describing the world of people and what happens on planet Earth: land and nature, matter and artifacts, the built environment, work, knowledge, organizations, registries, flows, events, people, and the security layer that gates it all. The catalogue is standalone: bound to no product, no platform and no government program. Any Vercy-conformant Dimension can adopt one model, one cluster or all of it. ## How each model is described Every model is one card, described per the Vercy standard (MMAS) with **its own set of bundles and layers**: - a **Manifest** block (MUIF): identity `vercy:world:`, canonical semantic name `world.`, version, declared conformance (MMAS A1, Structured); - **Bundles and layers**: the model's own composition hierarchy, designed from its subject matter, never a copied template; - the five semantic primitives: **Objects**, **Relationships**, **Events**, **Contracts**, **Projections**; - **Composition**: links to sibling models and external standards (EXTEND, REFERENCE, COMPOSE, MIX-IN, ALIGN); - **Stewardship**: the neutral owner archetype whose permission gates every read. The iron rule holds everywhere: **information from any meta-model is readable only with the permission of its owner** (cluster S: ownership S1, access contracts S2, disclosure policy S3, audit S4). ## The clusters Pick any cluster in the sidebar. The map, conventions and adoption guide: [Library architecture](library-architecture.md). | Cluster | Models | | Cluster | Models | |---|---|---|---|---| | Planet & Nature | 11 | | Security Ownership & Access | 8 | | Matter & Artifacts | 9 | | Polity | 10 | | Built Environment | 7 | | Society | 5 | | Activity & Work | 12 | | Economy | 2 | | Knowledge & Information | 12 | | Civilization | 5 | | Organizations | 7 | | People & Groups | 4 | | Registries & Ledgers | 6 | | Events & Phenomena | 5 | | Flows & Resources | 9 | | | | ## Machine layer and source - Machine register: [/models/world-models.csv](/models/world-models.csv) (one row per model) - System of Record: [github.com/ver-cy/world-models](https://github.com/ver-cy/world-models) (this site renders a mirror) - Registered in the [Vercy live register](https://github.com/ver-cy/meta-universe/tree/main/06-ecosystem/registry) as `vercy.world-models` - The ~1180 external standards models may import: [/external-models.csv](/external-models.csv) ## How to adopt it 1. Vendor the repository at a pinned ref into your Dimension's `imports/`. 2. Keep the IDs and CSNs for federation compatibility. 3. Bind your own doctrine and policy where the cards leave stewardship generic. 4. Federate: Dimensions that share these CSNs can map their worlds to each other through them.
